Some weddings just hold an extra special place in your heart, and Rhandie and Rees’ wedding was certainly one of those for me!
Not only was this my first time coordinating a wedding at the beautiful Frosty Valley Country Club, but this wedding was especially meaningful because the groom just so happens to be my cousin!
Growing up, my two sisters and I were incredibly close with Rees and his two brothers (and we are still the best of friends). The six of us spent so much of our childhood together, making memories, sharing laughs, and enjoying all the little moments that made growing up together so special. To fast-forward all these years and have the opportunity to be part of such an important day in his life? What a privilege!
From walking through all the final details with Rhandie and Rees to making sure their rehearsal ran smoothly, it was such a joy to help bring their wedding day vision to life. On the big day, I had the honor of working behind the scenes, making sure every thoughtful detail and personal touch was set up just right, the timeline stayed on track, and everything came together seamlessly.
And that's one of my favorite parts of being a wedding coordinator. Taking care of all those little details so the couple and their families can simply be present, soak it all in, and enjoy every moment.
It was a beautiful September wedding, filled with so much love, sweet memories, and the joy of celebrating two people beginning their forever together.
Rhandie and Rees, thank you for trusting me with your special day! Getting to celebrate you as family was already a gift, but getting to serve you as your wedding coordinator made it even sweeter.
